Refined branding

The Highwood Group is one of the 100 fastest-growing companies in the UK, committed to acquiring land selectively, building sensitively and sustainably. Highwood was founded in 1987 and builds homes across Dorset, Sussex and Hampshire.

Rooster inherited Highwood’s branding and sub-brands. We worked to refine the group brand hierarchy – giving the Highwood name the highest brand equity across all branches of the company. Branding for Highwood’s North Stoneham Park (NSP) development was challenging to use in some formats. We cleaned it up, to give it functionality across all media. We created a set of brand guidelines for the development, which can be used in a variety of scenarios, including construction environments, on hoardings and on safety signs.

Rooster created material for large format print and digital – including a marketing table of the site plan with a map showing how NSP integrates with the local area. Floor plans were designed for leaflets and handouts, and we designed a document called the HUG – or Home User Guide. The HUG is full of FAQs and information for new homeowners and was styled through the brand guidelines developed for NSP.

Photography

Our photography team, experienced in interior and exterior property shots, carried out shoots at select properties. We also completed a shoot at Highwood’s NSP marketing suite, to capture the space, marketing collateral and the team in action.

Website

Rooster built a series of websites for the Highwood Group and developments – including a website for North Stoneham Park. With solid brand guidelines in place, we were able to roll out the design and build quickly, to the client’s exact specifications.

Interactive map

Our development team created a 2D map system. As well as standard zoom and pan features, the map allows users to view individual plots on the development. Homes can be filtered by property type, bedrooms and price, giving users a visual way to explore the development. The data in the map is granular – down to details of specific plots – but remains clear and intuitive in use. The map is connected to Highwood’s CRM system (Plot One) and as each property is sold, it’s marked as sold on the map. The map also collects data on what users are most interested in, which house types they prefer and gives insight into their budgets.

CGI

We created hyper-realistic street scene CGIs to visualise North Stoneham Park, together with 2D maps and site plans. These materials were optimised for print and digital, with large format prints showcased in sales suites and estate agents offices. CGIs and maps were also incorporated into brochures, hoardings and signage designed for outdoor use.
